“You will never experience the earth with all its wonders in this time again. Don’t wait for one last look at the ocean, the sky, the stars, or a loved one. Go look now.” ~ Elisabeth Kubler-Ross

.
Today I will enjoy something marvelous. I will look at the created world with eyes that see into the mystery, rather than just browse the surface. Today I will listen, smell, taste and touch something alive, growing and vulnerable. And as I speak of the Other, I speak of my Self too.
Today I will open my mind, my heart, my experience to what is real and tangible about this earth-life. Today I am here in this environment, this place full of curiosity and stimulation. I will observe the nuances. I will hear the warble in the bird song, the clack of the train. I will smell the air, the blooms, the scent of rain. I will taste the energy in fruits and vegetables. I will touch the petals of flowers, cradle the furry bodies of cats.
I will give my self to every sensation that identifies where I am and what I’m doing. I will have it all. The ocean running out of my faucet, the sky outside my window, the stars at night, loved ones in person, in email or on phone. I will have it now, today and everyday.
I am gifted with the abundance of being. I am absorbed by the Light. Could I express my Self differently as Person, I would be the one volleying the beach ball on the shore with sand between my toes and seaweed in my hair. But I have it all any where and any way…… in the wind, the clouds, the weather, in the moments of attention to the immediate, the marvelous.
